On November 10, the Dialogue between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and political parties from Southeast and South Asian countries was held in Kunming under the theme of “Sharing the Achievements of the Belt and Road Summit Forum on International Cooperation”. More than 50 political parties, political organisations, think tanks and media representatives from 18 countries in Southeast and South Asia attended the meeting.

  Liu Jianchao, Minister of the CPC Central Committee, said that Southeast Asia and South Asia is a pioneer demonstration region for the construction of the “Belt and Road”, and that the CPC is willing to work with political parties of all countries to promote the implementation of the eight actions proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Third Belt and Road Summit Forum for International Cooperation, through the “Belt and Road” initiative, as well as to promote the implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative. The CPC is willing to work with political parties of all countries to promote the implementation of the eight actions proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Third Belt and Road Summit on International Co-operation, promote the construction of the Green Silk Road, the Digital Silk Road, and the Clean Silk Road through the mechanism of Political Parties Plus, deepen humanistic exchanges and people-to-people communication, and inject the power of political parties into the high-quality construction of the Belt and Road.

  Pirapong, head of the United Thai National Party (UTNP) and Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand, and other foreign guests expressed their willingness to strengthen inter-party exchanges and political mutual trust with the Chinese side, and to push forward co-operation in building the “Belt and Road” and other measures, so as to promote the development and prosperity of the region.
